About me

My name is Dyre Dammann. I founded Bird’sViewArt based on my passion for our beautiful earth. Though pursuing a Ph.D. in remote sensing, I gained knowledge about the extraordinary artistic and scientific perspective we gain with a bird’s-eye view. I now want to share this with you.

My unique combination of experience enables me to create artwork from a scientific viewpoint, highlighting the beauty of the earth in an artistic and meaningful fashion.  The incredible detail allows the viewer to discover new and interesting features every time they look at the image. Earth as art has the potential to inspire and create added appreciation for our amazing planet.

Through my blog I post detailed information about each image and often what led me to this particular area.
